Wayne Wilson, president of The Restoration Academy has over 40 years of construction experience including 15 years experience in the historical renovation field. Having first found success as the project and operations manager of Corporate Project Management Inc., he founded The Restoration Academy in 2022. The Restoration Academy specializes in historical restoration of old structures, particularly state and federal parks buildings in the western United States, and as of early 2023 has already secured two contracts from California State Parks.

Mr. Wilson holds a project management certificate from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Likewise, he has earned a project management professional certification from the Project Management Institute.

Mr. Wilson attributes much of his success to his love for historical buildings and projects. To him, the most gratifying aspect of completing a project is the feeling that he has done something of which nobody else is capable. He is proud to have worked on numerous state and federal contracts, including restoration work at the Hoover Dam.
